High Pressure Crucible Sealing Tool for Nimonic Crucibles
This is the tool for cylindrical crucibles made of Nimonic. You fix the crucible in one of the tolls and the cover in the other to seal them with the required torque.
Description
The high pressure sealing tool for reusable crucibles consists of a lower part to hold the hexagonal crucible, and an upper part that fits on the crucible cover. The crucible with sealing disk is closed by turning until a sliding clutch is activated. After the measurement, the same tool is used to open the crucible.
The high-pressure sealing tool for nimonic crucibles was developed for applications of TA4000 series of instruments that preceded the TA 8000 and STARe series instruments.
Non-Reusable gold-plated steel crucibles are sealed using a third party toggle press and a METTLER TOLEDO tool kit
